Abstract

This chalk talk prepares senior medical students—soon‑to‑be interns in internal medicine and med‑peds—for ordering anticoagulation around interventional radiology procedures. It covers practical, evidence‑based decision points: assessing procedure bleeding risk; when to hold or continue warfarin, DOACs, LMWH and heparin; peri‑procedural reversal options; and how to manage bridging.
